Welcome

SA Adelaide Language Centre is an accredited ELICOS centre offering high quality English language tuition through a range of courses to students of all ages.

The SA Adelaide Language Centre was established in 1994 by St Aloysius College, a primary and secondary school founded in 1880 by the Sisters of Mercy. The Mercy tradition is one of providing high quality education on a non-partisan basis, of fostering academic excellence, and of building a sense of co-operation and concern for others within our community.

The SA Adelaide Language Centre is conveniently located in the heart of the City of Adelaide, close to major educational, sporting, recreational and shopping facilities. Its central position means that the Language Centre is readily accessible and well served by all forms of public transport.

The Language Centre offers a stimulating yet relaxing environment for study. It is a small, personal centre with a warm and friendly atmosphere, where students can relate comfortably with their teachers and peers.

We look forward to welcoming you to Adelaide and to the SA Adelaide Language Centre.

SAALC Adult Campus

Our adult students have settled in and are enjoying studying in their own campus at 81 Angas Street - less than a block away from our main Administration building at 43 Angas Street which is still home for our junior (PSS) students.

The expansion of our adult programmes, in particular our Preparation for IELTS & EAP classes meant that we had to seek additional premises. We were delighted to find the perfect site in a lovely heritage building very close to home! After an extensive renovation programme, the Adult Campus was opened by the Lord Mayor of Adelaide, The Right Honourable Michael Harbison and some of our LCB students even officiated as waiters for the evening celebrations!
